Return & Refund Policy

At Asttitva Samajik Sanstha, we are deeply grateful for the support of our well-wishers. As a non-governmental organization (NGO), we do not sell any products or services; all financial contributions received are considered voluntary donations used to support our social welfare initiatives.

Because these funds are immediately allocated to our programs (such as women and child welfare), we have established the following policy regarding refunds:

1. No Product Returns

Since Asttitva Samajik Sanstha does not engage in the sale of physical goods, there is no provision for “returns” or “exchanges” of products.

2. Refund Requests

We understand that errors can happen during the donation process (e.g., technical glitches or accidental duplicate transactions). Refund requests will be considered under the following circumstances:

  • Technical Error: A duplicate transaction occurred due to a processing error.

  • Unauthorized Transaction: The donation was made without the donor’s consent (subject to verification).

  • Clerical Error: An extra zero was added accidentally (e.g., donating $1000$ instead of $100$).

3. Timeline for Requests

Donors must submit a written refund request within 7 days of the donation date. Requests made after this period may not be eligible for a refund as the funds may have already been deployed to our field projects.

4. Information Required

To process a refund, please email us at asttitvango@gmail.com with the following details:

  • Full Name of the Donor

  • Date and Time of the donation

  • Donation Amount

  • Proof of Transaction (Transaction ID or Screenshot)

  • Reason for the refund request

5. Refund Processing

Once a request is verified and approved, the refund will be processed via the original payment method. Please note:

  • It may take 7–10 business days for the amount to reflect in your account.

  • Any processing fees or bank charges incurred during the initial transaction may be deducted from the refund amount.

6. Tax Certificates

If a tax-exempt certificate (e.g., 80G) has already been issued for the donation, the refund request will be invalidated, or the certificate must be officially canceled before a refund can be initiated.
